We at 127 Pediatrics view Labor Day as a time to celebrate the hard work of American workers.

Whether they are at-home care providers or in a traditional care model, this Labor Day, we at 127 Pediatrics would like to salute all of the pediatricians out there who are working hard to care for children!

And though we remember a time when school didn’t start until after Labor Day, that is definitely not the case now.

Take a Break

You’ve recently seen the pace pick up over the last couple of weeks. Back to school, activities, decisions, commitments . . . this may seem like an odd time to pause with the start of so many things.

That is exactly a good reason to do so.

Relax. It was a long, hot, summer. You have a chance again today to take a step back, reflect on the past few months, and move forward with new energy.

This weekend, don’t forget to carve out some time for yourself.

Even taking a break from the regular pace or plan can prove refreshing.

Be With Family

Enjoy the company of your family and friends.

This extended weekend is the perfect opportunity to do something special together.

It could be as simple as a backyard BBQ, going for a walk, or visiting a nearby park.

Or, if you decided to get adventurous and planned a trip to somewhere new, try to actually vacate from your everyday distractions and focus on those around you.

Whatever you do, make sure to dig in and enjoy intentional time with your loved ones.

Get Ready

With the fall season approaching, followed by a busy Holiday season, opportunities to take a focused break won’t come easy.

If you take time to reflect today, you may have an opportunity to think about the upcoming seasons and the best plan for your family to connect through the chaos.

Whatever it is, getting ahead today can help make the next few months more enjoyable for everyone.

This weekend, take advantage of the chance to rest, recharge and get ready for all that’s ahead.

From all of us at 127 Pediatrics, we hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

If you need at-home pediatric care for your child, please do not hesitate to call us!

Our pediatricians serve the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and we’re glad to say we now service Aledo and its surrounding areas.

We wish you all a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!
